Mamma Mia Musical

I was on costume crew for Booker T's All School Musical, Mamma Mia! I created Danna's blue cat shirt.

The following two pictures were used as reference.

Made patterns based off the actress's measurements.

I made mock ups to make sure I got the right measurement and it fits correctly.

Drew cat pattern to put on shirt.

Added patterns to cat.

Traced two cats on light blue fabric.

Traced two cats on light blue fabric ironed on heat bond.

Traced outline of cats with black sharpie.

Traced pattern on fabric for shirts.

With the zig zag stitch, I sewed on cat to shirt.

With help from Sonny Jordan on a day when I was sick, he helped paint on the pattern.

Had actress try on and pinned shorter.

Trimmed hem with pinking scissors.

Hem the bottom edge.

Hot glue gems around collar.

With fabric glue, I attached gems and strips to bottom hem.

On sleeves, added gems and strips.

Add gems on neckline with hot glue.

Add more gems to face and body to shine more.

Sew on waist ribbon.

Add gems on ribbons that are attached to the boots with fabric glue.
