This dress was made during the summer of 2020, when I was enrolled in the Parsons' Fashion Design summer program virtually. This dress was the foundation/start for this line.

Parsons Design School provided me with skills to learn how to make patterns with technology. Rather than using my own clothes as patterns I was able to create my own pattern. After using the patterns to cut out the fabric, I sewed together the pieces to create the form of the dress. I then hand stitched stars with light purple thread.
